Fast results in 10 minutes for indication of Vitamin D levels.
Finger-prick blood test.
*Note: in most cases, those with Vitamin D deficiency will show no symptoms. The above symptoms could also be the result of other causes.
Vitamin D in the body needs to be converted to 25-hydroxyvitamin D before it can be used. A simple 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test can give an indication of vitamin D levels and the risk of deficiency.
If your test result indicates a risk of Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist before starting any treatment, which may include Vitamin D supplements.

How to use
This home self-test kit is for adults (aged 18 and over) for the collection of a finger prick blood sample. This test is a screening tool to indicate the risk of Vitamin D deficiency. Please read the instruction leaflet carefully before use.
Scroll down for video instructions and results guidance.
Once you have collected your sample and performed your test, you must wait 10 minutes after applying your sample into the test cassette before you read the results. From there, it's essential that you compare the test (T) line intensity with the "Vitamin D colour card" provided with the kit to get an indication of the Vitamin D level in your blood. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
