What this medicine is for
A soothing antihistamine cream for the relief of pain, itching and swelling caused by insect bites and stings and nettle stings.
Suitable for
Adults and children 2 years and over

How to use

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. Check with your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse if you are not sure.
Check the tube seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the cream. Pierce tube seal with end of cap. Apply to the affected areas of skin only.
Adults and children of 2 years and over: Smooth a very small amount on the affected area. Use the cream 2 or 3 times a day, for a maximum of 3 days.
For best results, use as soon as possible after the bite or sting.
If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you feel the effect of your medicine is too weak or too strong, do not change the dose yourself, but ask your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more of this medicine than you should or it is accidentally swallowed, seek immediate medical attention particularly in young children. Tell a doctor or go to a hospital casualty department straightaway. Take the medicine pack with you. This is so the doctor knows what you or the child has taken.
The following effects may happen: loss of consciousness and fits (seizures).
If you forget to use the product do not apply a double amount of cream to make up for a forgotten application. Apply the cream as soon as you remember, then carry on as before.
Hazards and Cautions

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or other antihistamines.

If you have eczema or other skin conditions.

On cut, grazed or badly broken skin, sunburnt skin or on large areas of skin.
If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Tell your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. This includes medicines you can buy without prescription, including herbal medicines.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse for advice before using this medicine.
You may feel drowsy or sleepy while using this medicine. If this happens, do not drive or use any tools or machines.
Possible side effects
Most people will not have problems.
Stop using this medicine and see a doctor or go to a hospital straight away if you notice any of the following side effects: A severe allergic reaction. The signs may include rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of your lips, face throat or tongue.
Stop using this medicine and tell a pharmacist if you notice the following side effect:
- An increase in skin redness, swelling and itching in the area where you have used the cream. This might be due to a mild allergic reaction.
If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed on this carton. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.
How to store this medicine
Do not store above 25°C.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Use by the date on the flap of the carton.
Precautions
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.
