Boots Pharmaceuticals TENS Maternity Unit Replacement Pads are only for use with our TENS Maternity Unit. This pack contains 4 pads. Refer to the instruction leaflet provided with the Boots Pharmaceuticals TENS Maternity Unit for the correct placement of electrodes and connection to the TENS unit.
How to use
Ensure that your TENS Maternity Unit is switched off prior to applying or removing electrodes.
Clean the skin of the area where the electrodes are to be placed thoroughly. Allow the skin to dry before applying the electrodes.
Connect the leadwires supplied with your TENS Maternity Unit securely to the adhesive electrodes.
Remove the adhesive electrodes from the backing and place them on the skin as indicated in the TENS Maternity Unit instruction leaflet. Ensure that the entire surface adheres to the skin.
After use, place the electrodes on the backing and store them in the zip-lock pouch. Ensure the zip-lock is closed for optimum storage of the electrodes.
Increase the adhesiveness, if needed, by adding a few drops of water onto the adhesive area and gently rub the surface.
Hazards and Cautions
Single patient use only.
May only be used on unbroken skin.
If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult with your doctor.
Please follow the instructions provided with the Boots Pharmaceuticals TENS Maternity Unit.
