Abnormal vaginal odour, discharge, itching and discomfort are common symptoms of Thrush and Bacterial Vaginosis. This treatment contains a 7-day course of pessaries to treat fungal and bacterial vaginal infections whilst preventing the recurrence of symptoms.

Boots Dual Action Thrush & BV Pessaries work by both treating the infection whilst relieving the uncomfortable symptoms. The Boots Dual Action Thrush & BV Pessaries provide relief for vaginal irritation and discomfort such as itching and burning, abnormal discharge and odour caused by fungal and bacterial vaginal infections. The easy to use pessaries work to reduce unpleasant odour, restore and maintain natural vaginal flora and a healthy vaginal pH.

Suitable for

The Boots Dual Action Thrush & BV Pessaries can be used by women from 16 years old.

The safety of use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unknown.

How to use

Read the instructions for use carefully before using the product.

Hazards and Cautions

Consult with your general practitioner before using the treatment.

The symptoms may disappear after 3 days of use. However, continue using the pessaries for the recommended treatment period to prevent recurrence of symptoms. If the symptoms are improving but have not resolved completely after one treatment period of 7 days, treatment may be repeated for another 7 days.

If the symptoms to not improve at all or worsen after 5 days of treatment, please consult your general practitioner. Treatment can be continued during menstruation. However, in case of heavy menstrual flow, the effectiveness of the pessaries may be reduced.

Do not take Boots Dual Action Thrush & BV Pessaries if:

You are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients
You are trying to get pregnant

The pessary is for intra-vaginal use only. Do not swallow the pessary.

Storage

Keep in the original packaging at room temperature (15-25^o)

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Do not use after the expiry date as printed on the blister and outer carton.
