Create deep, defined waves with our bestselling Pick 'N' Mix Barrel. The Mermaid Waver™ has 3 x 32mm ceramic coated barrels with a built-in handle that doubles as a heat stand. Simply choose your handle and get started styling those perfect beachy waves!

So whether, you have Short Hair, Long Hair or Frizzy Hair, we have the barrel for you. Do you fancy creating Loose Curls, Mermaid Waves, Bouncy Blow Drys, Sleek and Straight or Tight Corkscrew Curls? The Pick 'N' Mix range is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
1. Pick your handle - We have 2 types of handle to choose from, standard or flexi, with endless colour options in each.
2. Mix it up with a barrel - Choose from over 23 barrels in different Shapes, Sizes and Colours to create endless hair looks
3. Click together and get styling!
How to use
Pick your handle (sold seperately)
Insert the waver into your handle until you hear the 'click' and the button on the side pops out indicate the barrel is secure
Once the barrel is fitted correctly, it should not be possible to remove the barrel from the handle wihtout pressing the release button located on the side of the handle
Turn on the handle using the ON/OFF switch and allow up to 60 seconds for the barrel to reach optimum temperature - a light will show to indicate the curling wand is on
The barrel will get hot so recommend to use the Heat Proof Glove provided for extra protection against the heat when styling
Take a small section of hair and spray with a Heat Protection Spray, then open the clamp and place the hair into the waver - hold for 10 to 15 seconds (dependant on hair thickness) - and repeat on the next section.
Top tip - alternate using the waver upside down to create more variety in your waves and also use the waver at a slight angle, gently clamping at the top to avoid a line appearing in the hair
Ensure you use a heat resistant mat or surface when using the curling wand - make sure any surfaces the wand is placed on will not be damaged by heat
Once finished, turn the wand off and unplug from the mains, allowing it to cool one a heat resistant surface before removing or changing the barrel
Use either your fingers or a wide tooth comb (not a brush!) to gently release & define your waves
Finish with a hairspray to set your look in place
Hazards and Cautions
1. The Mark Hill Pick ‘N’ Mix handle and barrels are designed to be exclusively compatible with each other. Do not attempt to use them in combination with any other products.
2. DO NOT use the wand near water.
3. DO NOT use the wand in a bathroom or near sinks or other vessels containing water.
4. DO NOT wrap the cord around the wand, this may damage the cable and cause early failure.
5. DO NOT place the wand on soft furnishings or surfaces that may be damaged by heat or any combustible materials.
6. DO NOT allow metal parts of the barrels to touch bare skin, the barrel reaches high temperatures and will cause burns.
