Milton Sterilising Unit
Used by health professionals on maternity wards, the Milton Cold Water method of sterilising is effective within 15 mins. Milton Sterilising Tablets or Milton Sterilsing Fluid can be used in the unit which has a large 5L capacity; can hold up to 6 standard baby bottles. Use to sterilise all breastfeeding equipment and baby feeding accessories: breast pump part, baby bottles, soothers, teething rings, small plastic toys, plastic cutlery, weaning bowls. Lid and locking handle protect the solution. Pouring spout allows you to empty the solution easily and the unit is weighted to keep all items submerged in the solution
How to use
Wash bottles, teats and breastfeeding equipment in warm soapy water, then rinse in cold water. Fill your sterilising unit with 5L of cold tap water, add 1 Milton Tablet or 30 ml of Milton Fluid (30 ml dilution at 0.6% v.v Close the lid and in just 15 minutes everything is ready to use. No need to rinse. Items can stay in the solution until needed. Renew the solution every 24 hours Keep out of reach of children
Hazards and Cautions
Before using the Unit for the first time make sure you read the safety leaflet contained in the unit and wash all parts of the Unit with warm soapy water and rinse with cold water.
Usual Hazards and Cautions apply when using the Milton Fluid or Tablets for the Cold Water sterilising method.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid prolonged contact with metal.
Avoid contact with eyes, in the event of contact, rinse eyes with warm water.
Do not inhale.
Do not use in combination with other products as toxic gases may be released (chlorine).
Milton may discolour fabric on contact.
