Otrivine Congestion Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray provides relief from the symptoms of nasal congestion due to colds, sinusitis and allergies, such as hay fever. Each application delivers a measured dose to clear a blocked nose and relieve excessive nasal secretions.

Suitable for

Adults and children over 12 years.

Age Restriction

You must be at least 16 years old to purchase this product.

How to use

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer.

Directions: For nasal use. For full instructions see enclosed leaflet. Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuating 5 times. Once primed, the pump will normally remain charged throughout regular daily treatment periods. If the spray is not ejected during the full actuation stroke, or if the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 2 actuations.

Dosage for adults and children over 12 years: one spray in each nostril up to 3 times daily as needed. Not suitable for infants or children under 12 years.

Do not use after 28 days of opening.

Hazards and Cautions

Do not use continuously for more than seven consecutive days. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.

Warning: Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to

If you are pregnant or taking other medicines or are under a doctor's care consult your doctor before using Otrivine.

Each Otrivine pack should be used by one person only to prevent any cross infection.

Do not use after the expiry date given.

If accidentally swallowed, seek immediate medical advice.

Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package

Active ingredients

Xylometazoline Hydrochloride

Ingredients

Active ingredient: xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% w/v (1mg/ml).

Each application contains 140 micrograms.

Also contains: sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, disodium edetate, levomenthol, cineole, sorbitol, polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil (macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate) and purified water.
