Overview of Sonicare Brusheads

Philips Sonicare brush heads are engineered to exacting standards, designed to work in partnership with the handles, with each part maximising the contribution of the other. Brush heads are made up of thousands of tiny filaments (or bristles), and each cluster of bristles is called a tuft. Bristles are made of the highest quality, extremely soft nylon available and are rounded at the top by diamond grinding wheels for safety and gentleness. The heads come in two sizes:

1- Standard: For focused cleaning in areas of special need.
2- Mini: For orthodontic patients and those with smaller mouths.

Contoured bristles

These Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush bristles are trimmed in a contoured pattern to fit the natural shape of teeth. The peaks and valleys along the length of the brush head are ergonomically designed to follow teeth topography and fit in between teeth so you're less likely to miss places when you brush.

Angled radial-trimmed bristles

The curved surface area created by angled, radial-trimmed bristles helps maintain contact with the surfaces of the teeth and gums as the brush head pivots, covering a larger surface area without increasing the size of the brush head.

Clinically proven safe and gentle

Your Sonicare is safe to use on: braces (brush heads wear out sooner when used on braces), dental restorations (fillings, crowns, veneers) and periodontal pockets.

Reminder bristles

Reminder bristles gradually fade, indicating when it's time to replace brush heads. If a patient uses their brush head twice a day for the full two minutes, it needs to be replaced every three months.
