Medication management
We understand how important it is to manage your residents’ medicines safely and responsibly. That’s why we have a number of ways to help you keep track of medicines and ensure they're secure and stored correctly.
• Prescription management from receipt of prescriptions to delivery of medication
• A 28-day supply of medication delivered to your home at least three days before the medication start day
• Our paper and computer records provide a clear audit trail for regulators covering receipt, administration, ordering and return of medication
• We can also supply your home with supplementary Medication Administration Records (MAR), such as Topical Medicines Administration Records (TMAR), so your team can record usage of creams, lotions and ointments
Keep track of medicines with eMAR
Many care providers are switching from paper-based to electronic medicines administration record (eMAR) systems. By helping your team deliver great care, eMAR with Boots can help make keeping track of medicines simpler, safer and compliant with regulations.
