At Boots Opticians our range of eye tests, scans & checks not only check your vision, but they also check the health of your eyes & can help to detect a range of wider health conditions such as diabetes & glaucoma.
That’s why it’s important to get your eyes checked at least every 2 years or as recommended by your Optometrist, even if you’re not experiencing any issues with your sight. Find out more about what happens during an eye test & why they are so important here.

Eye Test with contact lens check
This test is for when you need both a sight test & a check for your contact lenses. The price of an eye test is from £29.95 & the cost of a contact lens check is £50. Please remember to come wearing your contact lenses (unless advised not to).
Eye Test with free contact lens trial
If you are interested in trying contact lenses for the first time, or haven't had contact lenses for a while, we offer a free contact lens trial. Plus if you haven't had an eye test within the last 12 months, this combined appointment will be needed. The price of an eye test is from £29.95. Contact Lens check
This test is for when your contact lenses need checking, but you do not need a sight test. The contact lens check normally costs £50, but is included within the Contact Lens Reward Plan.
