Active Ingredient
The active ingredient, hyoscine butylbromide is an anti-spasmodic, it works by relaxing the cramping muscles of the bowel and thus relieving cramps that cause the IBS pain. Always read the label.
How it works
Starts to work in 15 minutes, acting directly on muscle spasms to relieve IBS pain
Dosage
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 1 tablet taken 3 times a day. Up to 2 tablets 4 times a day if necessary. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Always read the label

How it works
The antispasmodic action of Buscopan Cramps targets pain at its source – acting fast to relax and start to relieve your cramps within 15 minutes
Dosage
Adults: 2 tablets four times daily. For the symptomatic relief of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the recommended starting dose is 1 tablet three times daily, this can be increased up to 2 tablets four times daily if necessary. Children: 6 – 12 years: 1 tablet three times daily. Always read the label.

BUSCOMINT
Buscomint is a multi-symptom treatment for abdominal discomfort. To provide relief from abdominal pain, cramps and bloating. Especially in those with IBS.
Active Ingredient
Contains peppermint oil and is a herbal medicinal product for the symptomatic relief of abdominal pain, minor spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, and flatulence, especially in patients with irritable bowel syndrome.
How it works
Enteric coating delays the release of peppermint oil until the capsule reaches the bowel, where peppermint oil relaxes the colon.
Dosage
Adults and children aged 12 years and weighing at least 40kg or 6 stone. Not recommended for children aged under 12 years. Always read the label
