An outdoor laboratory
Nestled high up in the French Alps, the Domaine Clarins is an open-air laboratory and exceptional source of organic raw materials, designed to preserve biodiversity.
At an altitude of 1400 meters, far from any pollution, our Domaine Clarins rigorously follows the rules of organic farming. No chemical fertilisers or pesticides are used, plants are hand-picked, and the land is ploughed using horses, all while respecting plant and animal life and the cycles of nature. Ingredients are 100% organically farmed, in harmony with the seasons, so that we can produce our very own plant extracts, packed with high-quality, pure and naturally efficient skin care actives.

In 2021, our new generation of facial cleansers were launched, enriched with Alpine Herbs grown at the ‘Domaine Clarins’.

We have partnered with TerraCycle® to ensure that we offer all of our customers a way to recycle their empty beauty products that may not already be easily recyclable through the normal means.
Simply visit us in store with any empty beauty product packaging and we will do the rest!*
Caring for people
Green Fingers
Green Fingers help build tranquil gardens to support children who spend time in hospices around the UK.
Through TerraCycle® we donate £1 on behalf of our customers for every kilogram of recycling we receive.
Feed
We will continue to support our global charity partner, FEED in 2022 by once again donating school meals to children in the most need around the world. To date our UK customers have helped to contribute over 7 million meals.

30% reduced carbon footprint
Today: We are carbon neutral.** Thanks to a reduction in our emissions and reward programs linked to financing the production of renewable energy, such as solar panels in India and bio-gas in China, and reforestation actions in Brazil.
Our commitment by 2025: Further reduce our footprint by 30% by controlling our resources and energy consumption even more carefully.
100% recyclable packaging
Today: 63% of our packaging is made from recyclable glass and cardboard.
Our commitment by 2025: 100% of our packaging will be recyclable, and we will have refillable products in stores.
30% less plastic usage
Today: We are actively working on reducing plastic in our packaging.
The tubes and bottles used for our suncare products incorporate recycled plastic (20%), and theouter carton paper is sourced from sustainably-managed forests, meaning less plastic at the sourceand less first time plastic use.
Our commitment by 2025: New recycling programmes coupled with a 30% reduction in plasticusage.
80% organic plant extracts
Today: 80% of the active ingredients used in our skin care are from natural origin and 40% of ourextracts come from organic plants.
