ABOUT MEDICATION SUPPORT


Our medication support services provide personalised, carefully scheduled face-to-face video calls with a team of friendly, experienced Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians via an easy-to-use tablet device. Offering expert support, advice, guidance and information about taking medicines throughout the day, we can help to take away the feelings of stress, worry and uncertainty that often come with managing medication, particularly if there are tricky drug dose intervals or complex medical conditions.

The client's medication management will be supported by the pharmacy professionals, who can also manage repeat prescription ordering, and all medication-related issues, allowing your loved ones to share the responsibility of ensuring that medicines are taken correctly, on time, every time with trusted professionals.

It helps to make taking medicines safer and quicker, with your own pharmacy professional, always at hand to give advice, answer questions about medicines, and be available for a friendly chat when needed. The service is available from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm every day, including bank holidays and weekends, with up to 10 virtual visits made if required each day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The service starts from £11.74 per day which includes up to 10 virtual visits in a day. The minimum service provision is one month.

You will be speaking face-to-face, via our simple tablet device, to one of our friendly Pharmacists or Pharmacy Technicians for every dose. They’ll be there to remind you and help you take your medication exactly as prescribed and are on hand to offer advice and support in whatever form the medication takes, be it tablets, liquids, injections, inhalers or ointments. They'll even help organise repeat prescriptions with your Pharmacy or arrange GP appointments if required.

You may require support from carers for non-medication issues, but our service is usually all the medication support you will need.
