LA ROCHE-POSAY

Cancer support by La Roche-Posay

Two people embracing one another

Did you know that more than 80% of patients* suffering from cancer develop skin side effects linked to the different treatments?

While you live with cancer, your body and mind can go through many changes. To navigate your journey ahead it is essential to practice selfcare to enrich your mind, body and soul. Indulging in the things you love the most can be incredibly satisfying. Whether you love exercising, meditating or trying new make-up routines, now is the time to put yourself at the top of your priority list.

It is crucial, also, to look after your skin as best as you can to prepare for your treatments, and to rejuvenate yourself afterwards. Your skin is part of who you are. If your skin is affected by something, so are you. Taking care of your body, through gentle exercise and finding the right skin care routine, can make a real difference to how you experience cancer.

We partner with Macmillan Cancer Support

Did you know that La Roche-Posay is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and the vital work it does to support people living with cancer? Working in partnership, La Roche-Posay and Macmillan aim to provide information and support on the side effects of cancer treatment on skin and ways to alleviate these.

Dr Justine Hextall, consultant dermatologist

“One of the most common side effects we see during cancer treatments is in the skin. We want to offer reassurance to those undergoing treatment that the La Roche-Posay recommended skincare is safe and protective to use both before, during and after treatment.”

- Dr Justine Hextall, Consultant Dermatologist
