Since it landed on our screens in October 2020, Emily in Paris has had audiences both hooked and polarised. It’s essentially Marmite telly. Love it or hate it though, there’s one thing that we can all agree on – it has serious style.
From the fashion to the jewellery, season one served up plenty of inspo for helping us channel our inner Parisienne girl chic. And with the arrival of season two on Netflix, we can say ‘Salut’ to even more of the same. This time around though, there’s something extra special that’s certain to get fans excited - a new Lancôme x Emily in Paris collection of limited edition make-up, skincare and fragrance must-buys to infuse our beauty look with a dose of French flair.
What does it comprise of? The hero of the collection is the Emily in Paris eyeshadow palette housed in a heart-shaped box and 12 shades inspired by the show’s most beloved characters. You’ll also find special editions of the brand’s renowned Advanced Genifique Serum, L’ Absolu Rouge lipsticks (in three shades), a beautifully bottled Idole Eau de Parfum and the volumising Monsieur Big Mascara. Featuring the red and pink colour codes of the show, as well as Emily’s Eiffel Tower bag charm motifs, the products are a pretty amazing treat for the eyes.
Available exclusively through Boots and Lancôme in the UK, it contains everything you need to take your look from fresh, dewy daytime skin to a classic red lipstick at night. Perfume – it’s the perfect finishing touch to any outfit. The least visible layer, but perhaps the most powerful when it comes to adding a final flourish. It can also be incredibly personal and while a great scent is often subjective, we’d argue that this fragrance would pique the noses (and interests) of many.
Sophisticated, elegant and enveloping, its notes of rose, jasmine absolutes, bergamot, juicy pear and pink peppercorn make for a result that’s fresh, sparkling and sweet (but not sickeningly so) and heady (but not so intense that it causes you to get a headache).
