No matter where you are on your menopause journey – whether you’re starting to spot signs of the perimenopause or you’re navigating your way through the menopause, this is the next phase of your life, and one that should be celebrated too.

And while we can agree that the hot flushes, mood swings and disrupted sleep get a lot of attention, let's not forget that there are other signs and symptoms which some people may experience. Whether you experience just a handful of these or more, why not create a menopause toolkit that’s tailored to your specific needs?

From hair and skin changes to supporting your wellbeing, we’re with you for every menopausal moment and will help you choose the products that will keep you feeling like you.

Care for your hair

As you enter the menopause, the fluctuation of hormones like oestrogen can impact the natural hair growth cycle, resulting in a shift in texture and strength as well as hair loss and density changes. Everyone deserves to have a good hair day every day, so if you want to keep tresses looking voluminous and healthy, be sure to add a hair product to your toolkit that’s specific to your locks’ desires.

Try: NIOXIN Sandalore Anti-Hairloss Treatment

Got a signature style you want to keep creating? Don’t let hair loss and thinning stop you, tackle your hair concerns from the root with this Anti-Hair Loss Serum. Clinically proven to reduce hair loss by 20% in just eight weeks* thanks to improved anchorage of the hair roots at the scalp.

Adapt to changing skin needs

Just like we switch up our skincare routines for the different seasons, your skin may change naturally leading up to and during the menopause, meaning it may need a little extra nurturing during this time. This is all thanks to the drop in the hormone oestrogen which reduces collagen and elastin production as well as hyaluronic acid which is found naturally in the skin.  If you're affected by changes to your skin, it’s a good idea to start making swaps in your beauty bag, opting for products that are packed with menopause-friendly ingredients like collagen and hyaluronic acid to help improve skin elasticity and hydration.

Manage bladder weakness

A drop in oestrogen can cause the pelvic floor muscles to relax which can lead to bladder weakness during the menopause. If you do experience this from time to time, try to remember that you’re not alone and it’s a completely normal (if a little inconvenient!) part of the journey. You may want to consider trying exercises that can help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles but for those little leaks, whether they’re from laughing or sneezing, it’s a good idea to always have some liners or pads on hand, whether you’re at home or on the go.

**In a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, clinical trial 60 volunteers (50% male / 50% female, 18-65 years) suffering from hair thinning received treatment over a period of 16 weeks with either Nioxin Anti-Hair loss Serum (n = 30) or a placebo (identical, but without the actives, n = 30). The study provided the proof that in eight weeks Nioxin Ultimate Power Serum increases hair anchorage by measuring the resistance of the hair to traction, hence, staying on the scalp longer.
